Vertically aligned Single Crystalline TiO2 anatase Nanorods |

Previously low dimension nano structure has be spotlight because It has unseal characteristics of conductivities or strength. This trend effects on technology of Dye sensitize solar cells(DSSCs). Rutile nanorods and anatase nanorods have been reported by Hydrothermal method which is grown on FTO substrate and growth on Ti template respectively although they have low dimensional structure, it has small photoactivities and was not transparent respectively. so it couldn't enhance efficiencies of DSSC. By modifying nano structure of TiO2 layer, would enhance photoactivity and electron mobilities so It affect efficiency of Dye Sensitize solar cell. If Anatase TiO2 were grown vertically on FTO substrate and to be single crystals, the photo activity and electron mobility will be enhanced. because anatase has photocatalyitc talent and single crystal nanorods has low electric barrier so it causes more photovoltage than that of rutile nanorods. This paper demonstrates the single crystalline anatase nanorods that are grown directly on the FTO substrate and synthesised by hydrothermal method. |
