제목 Electroluminescent Properties of Pentacene Derivatives with Naphthalene Moiety
초록 Pentacene moiety has attracted lots of interest because of its high carrier mobility and dopant property.
We synthesized new conjugated compounds, 6,13-diphenylpentacene(DP-P), 6,13-dinaphthalen-1-yl-pentacene(1DN-P) and 6,13- di-naphthalen-2-yl-pentacene(2DN-P) based on pentacene.
All compounds showed photoluminescent (PL) maximum wavelength at around 620nm and 660 nm.
As solute concentration of DP-P increases, the PL peak intensity at 660nm rapidly increases as well as the overall PL intensity normally increases.
EL spectra of synthetic materials showed similar tendency of EL maximum value at around 621,628 nm and 669,675nm. EL efficiency of Alq3 doped with 2DN-P also showed better efficiency of 0.67 cd/A and 0.13lm/W compared to DP-P and 1DN-P due to different molecular interaction.
