제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Polyimides Having p-phenylene diacryloyl Moieties in the Main Chain for Flexible Substrate
초록 Flexible organic electronic devices fabricated on polymer substrates are the next generation of electronic display products. The polymer substrate for electronic devices manufacture would combine the gas barrier, thermal and chemical properties of glass with the flexibility, toughness and processability. However many technical problems have to be resolved such as those related to thermal and mechnical properties. PIs have been widely used in the electronic display industry because of their high Tg, dimensional stabilities, optical transparencies, and heat resistances as well as excellent mechanical, adhesion, and dielectric properties. In this study, a series of polyimides containing p-phenylene diacryloyl moieties combined with various dianhydride such as ODPA, BPDA, PMDA were synthesized by two-step method polymerization. The optical, physical and thermal properties of the free standing films formed from newly synthesized polyimides were investigated by various techniques.
