제목 Improvement of transparent conductive oxides thin film on polymer substrates by roll to roll process
초록 In flexible display area, roll to roll process was indispensable and effective due to productivity and compatibility for polymer materials. In this study, we attempted processable methods for mass production of the plastic substrates. ITO thin film as electrode and barrier thin film was deposited on the polyethersulfon (PES) substrates that have hard-coating layer for anti-chemical by reactive magnetron sputtering. Barrier thin films using multi-layer structure showed improvement of water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) and optical transmittance. NIR irradiation was adopted to anneal ITO thin film on the roll to roll process. Properties of PES substrates were confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), Mocon test and four-point probe method.
