제목 Synthesis of Polyolefin-Based Thermoplastic Elastomers with Graft and block structures using Living Anionic Polymerization
초록 Polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomers have a variety of merit. And the graft copolymer typed including random block copolymers, block copolymers, graft copolymers and blends polyolefin have some limitations due to their low use temperature. Prior to the experiment, Poly(ethylene-ter-hexen-ter-divinylbenzene)(EHV) terpolymers containing containing divinylbenzene(DVB) side group prepared by a metallocene copolymerization using rac-Et(Ind)2ZrCl2/MAO catalyst system show good solubility in common organic solvents, controllable DVB content, high molecular weight, narrow molecular weight and composition distributions. In this study, We synthesized PEHV-g-PBS graft copolymer having tert-butylstyrene(PBS) hard segment side chains using anionic graft-from polymerization involving DVB side groups. In addition, polyisoprene(PI) with vinyl groups was synthesized in the hard block. We investigated the graft copolymers, which might bring the copolymers with special properties.
