제목 Characteristic study of triphenylmethane substituted with counterion for light conversion film​
초록 In this work, we studied a red light conversion dye applied to agricultural films using a commercial triphenylmethane dye. These light conversion dyes require fluorescence in the red region, large Stokes shift, and high quantum yield. We analyzed the properties of commercial dyes and selected two dyes with good performances.Furthermore, we introduced two counter anions (TFSI, HFSI) and a counter cation(CTAB) to improve the solubility of the dyes. As a result, counter cation-substituted dye showed increased solubility in low-polarity solvents and high quantum yield in chloroform. In addition, the dye exhibited high thermal stability at 170 ℃, which is suitable for the processing temperature of light conversion film. In summary, we have shown that introducing counterions into a triphenylmethane dye can lead to properties suitable for light conversion.
