Aggregation induced emission(AIE) fluorophores including tetrphenylethene(TPE) and silole showed a little emission in the solution state but showed significant emissions when they aggregated. But, most of them did not dissolve well in aqueous solution mainly due to the hydrophobic and bulky AIE fluorophores and relatively small hydrophilic receptor parts. In the present study, we used a peptide as a receptor for heparin and synthesized a new peptide-based sensor using a TPE fluorophore for the detection of heparin and the contaminated OSCS in heparin. Also, by using the sensitive detection of heparin and inhibition activity for heparinase, the peptide probe could make it possible to measure the enzymtic activity of heparinase. The dual activity of the fluorescent probe such as the detection of heparin and inhibition acticvity for heparinase provided an efficient way for the detection of the contaminated OSCS in heparin using heparin-digestive enzyme. |
