제목 Comparison of Mechanical and Interfacial Properties of Kenaf Fiber with Rice-Rinsing Water Treatment
초록 Green composite materials are used for low fuel cost and weight reduction in fields of aviation, automobile, vessel. There are many surface treatment methods for nature fiber. In this research, rice-rinsing water was used to treat Kenaf fiber by spray coating method. Untreated Kenaf fiber was compared with rice-rinsing water treated kenaf fiber in order to check interfacial shear strength. The tensile strength and interfacial shear strength of Kenaf fiber were improved after rice-rinsing water treatment. It could be because rice-rinsing water treated Kenaf fiber exhibited uniform surface reactivity due to the existing cellulose portions working as the reinforcing parts.
