제목 Silk Fibroin Scaffolds as a Transporter to Deliver Demineralized Bone Particles for Bone Defect Treatment
초록 Silk fibroin has been widely used in tissue engineering due to its biocompatibility and biodegradability. Demineralized bone particle (DBP) is well-known as an inducer of osteogenesis. Herein, we have designed silk fibroin scaffolds loaded with DBP for bone defect treatment. Structural properties were performed using SEM. And cell proliferation activity and osteogenesis were evaluated by MTT and ALP assay. Various mRNA from scaffolds were also collected and studied. Furthermore, histological staining demonstrated enhancement in the nucleation sites of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. Collectively, the enhancement in mechanical properties result in formation of bone matrix and cell growth through establishment of structural connectivity of the fabricated silk fibroin-DBP scaffolds.
