The effect of chain orientation on the coefficient of thermal expansion of optical polymer film |
초록 |
The demand for the polymer with low coefficient of thermal expansion has been ever increasing with the advance of Information technology. However the CTE of polymer material is still high, which is in the range of 50 ~ 150 ppm/℃. Thus, the study on the controlling molecular parameter of CTE of polymer is of importance. In this study, transparent polycarbonate film was prepared by solvent casting. The degree of chain orientation was varied by the extent of drawing of film. The effects of chain orientation on the CTE as well as the optical properties were discussed. |
