Effect of Multi-walled Carbon Nanotube on Viscoelastic and Thermal Behaviors of Polypropylene Nanocomposites |

The effect of multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) on viscoelastic and thermal behaviors of MWCNT-filled polypropylene (PP) nanocomposites was investigated with MWCNT content from 0.5 to 3 wt.%. Thermal Behaviors of the nanocomposites were studied by differencial scanning calorimeter (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Viscoelastic behaviors were carried out using a rheometer system. As MWCNT played a role of reinforcing agent, the storage modulus was increase. From the results, it was shown that the control of viscoelastic and thermal behaviors was possible by the MWCNT content. |
