제목 Facial synthesis of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) microfiberby using simple microfluidic system
초록 We have developed a simple approach for the fabrication of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) microfibers in a hydrodynamic flow-focusing microfluidic system. The synthesis of PAN microfibers is based on the regeneration of PAN from dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) by simply contacting with a DMSO-containing water phase. The shape and size of PAN fibers were controlled by changing the flow rates of the PAN solution and the surrounding sheath fluid. After oxidation and carbonization steps, the mechanical and electrical properties of PAN microfibers were characterized.
