제목 Low resistance and high transparent ITO-Ag-ITO electrode grown by linear facing target sputtering system for organic solar cells
초록 We report on characteristics of the ITO/Ag/ITO multilayer electrode grown by LFTS system for organic solar cell. By inserting a very thin layer of Ag between two layers of amorphous ITO, we fabricated a low resistance, and highly transparent ITO-Ag-ITO multilayer electrode on a glass substrate. Due to SPR effects, the ITO-Ag-ITO electrode exhibited a low sheet resistance of 4.4 Ω/sq. and a high transparency of 86.5 % in the green region of 500~550 nm wavelength as well as superior flexibility despite the very thin thickness of the ITO layer (30nm). It was found that the transition of the Ag layer from distinct islands to a continuous film occurred at a critical thickness 16 nm. Continuity of the Ag film is very important for SPR in ITO-Ag-ITO electrode. The power conversion efficiency of organic solar cells fabricated on ITO-Ag-ITO/glass were better than those of organic solar cells fabricated on an ITO/glass substrate due to the low sheet resistance.
