Organic solar cells (OSCs) have attracted attention because of their advantages of flexibility, light weight, and low cost through roll to roll printing. The concept of bulk heterojunction (BHJ) has improved the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of the OSCs by blending electron donating polymers and electron accepting fullerene materials. Among the electron donating polymers, conjugated copolymers based on benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene (BDT) and thieno[3,4-b]thiophene (TT) segments have much attention due to excellent photovoltaic performances. In this study, we synthesized new regioregular polymers based on BDT and TT for high performance OSCs. The optical, electrochemical and thermal properties of the new regioregular polymers were investigated. Finally, OSCs were fabricated in the configuration of the inverted structure with the new regioregular polymers. The fabricated BHJ OSCs showed excellent performances |
