제목 Formation of Unimolecular Micelle of Multiblock/Graft Copolymers: Brownian Dynamics Simulation Approach
초록 Brownian dynamics simulation is conducted to investigate the effect of polymer architecture on the formation and structure of unimolecular micelle. Multiblock copolymer and graft copolymer are constructed using bead-spring model and Lennard-Jones interactions are employed to give amphiphilic nature for each block. Formation of flower-like and flower-connecting-type unimolecular micelle through intramolecular association is observed for multiblock and graft copolymers below critical aggregation temperature. It is also observed that the size of flower-like micelle is strongly affected by the number of repeating units. Various micellar properties such as critical aggregation temperature, average aggregation number, and the structure of flower-like micelle are obtained and compared with theoretical prediction.
