제목 | Dynamic Surface Tensiometric Characterization of the Surfactant-Polymer Interfacial Properties |
초록 | Maximum bubble pressure tensiometry (MBPT) is implied for the variety of liquid-liquid and solid-liquid and gas-liquid interfacial characterization. Its ease of operation and ability to provide deep insight into behaviors of the solutes makes it prominent. MBPT is applied to determine the critical micelle concentration (cmc) and compared with conventional tensiometer. Interfacial characterization of the Sodium dodcyle sulphate (SDS) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) are performed with the MBPT. Understanding of the interaction between surfactant-polymer and between surfactant monomers itself is very important for the strength and stability of the colloidal particles. The surfactant effectiveness explains the SDS-PVP interaction with their binding ability. A decrease in diffusion coefficient is observed for PVP at long times than short times measurement. |
