Much recent attention has been paid to organic photovoltaic due to its special feature such as portable power source and simple fabrications processing in large area. But the efficiency is not sufficient to meet realistic specifications for commercialization. Herein, we demonstrate inverted solar cells in which nano-patterned ITO electrodes was extended deep within active layer, providing efficient electron transport pathway. The line shape pattern of ITO electrode is prepared by Second Scattering Lithography(SSL). The active layer was fabricated with 1:0.7 ratio of the regioregular P3HT (poly-3-hexythiophene) and PCBM ([6,6]-phenyl C61 butyric acid methyl ester) conjugated polymers on the top of the pattered ITO layer. The performance of inverted solar cell was dramatically improved by both shorter traveling distance for electron and the increase of contact area of the electroncollecting electrode leading to increase of current density. |
