Magnetoelectric (ME) composites consisting of piezoelectric and magnetostrictive phases have been developed due to their superior strain-mediated reliable output voltage, which can be used in potential applications such as energy harvesters, high-sensitive magnetic sensors, memory devices and so on. In this study, to obtain wide-band ME responses, we designed a novel ME film of Ni/BaTiO3 inverse opal films prepared by polymer particle assembly, Ti deposition, chemical etching, perovskite conversion, and Ni plate attachment in a sequence. Particularly, ac magnetic vibration and magnetostriction were simultaneously induced from the piezoelectric inverse opal structure, which can be easily deformed under low ac magnetic field. From the result of wide-band ME responses, it could be feasible for magnetic energy harvesting devices. |
