제목 Preparation of nanocomposites with binary nanoparticles inP2VP-b-PHIC block copolymer
초록 Nano-hybrid materials have been widely studied for optical and electrical applications. Polymers have been used as a matrix for nanocomposites to stabilize quantum dots or metal nanoparticles and improve their optical efficiency. In this study, P2VP-b-PHIC block copolymers are prepared by anionic living polymerization. Also, CdS quantum dots and thiol-capped Au nanoparticles are prepared in the block copolymer. The diblock copolymer P2VP-b-PHIC is indeed a nice nanoreactor as it very efficiently allows the formation and stability of quantum dots. Most interestingly, the diblock copolymer that forms lamellar phases under suitable conditions also forms the arrays with two different kinds of nanoparticles. This unprecedented control over nanoparticles organization in the hierarchal pattern of the polymer would pave the way for applications in the area of nanofabrication.
