제목 Formation of 2 demensional structures from Peptide assembly
초록 Peptides are easy to form complex functional systems or self-assembly by multiple non-covalent interactions. Designing smart and advanced materials, with new fabrication strategies and predictable properties, is one of important aims of peptide engineering. Many approaches have been reported so far, to control the unique structures like nano wire, nano tube, sphere and other specific structures by designing amino acid sequences. Recently, two-dimensional (2D) structures have drawn much attention because they are expected to afford many interesting properties in bio and electronic application. During our previous study, we found that tyrosine containing small peptides could be utilized for self assembled structures. In this paper we suggest our designing strategy to make well ordered ultrathin 2D structure from tyrosine mediated small peptide unit by self assembly.
