Organic semiconducting molecules were very attractive for the fabrication of organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) in various molecular electronics applications, such as flexible display, smart card, RFID tag, and electronic paper. Recently, the research about organic semiconductors has often focused on solution processable semiconducting polymer. Because they enable solution processability by using spin coating and inkjet printing, which uses inexpensive solution deposition techniques. The researchers have made solution-processable materials based on polythiophenes which have good electrical conductivity as p-type semiconductors. We designed the new polymer which is composed of symmetric dialkylated-terthiophene and thienothiophene. The obtained polymer was characterized by various spectroscopic methods such as IR and NMR. The thermal, optical and electrical properties of polymer were also investigated |
