제목 Preparation and Characterization of High Molecular Weight Copolymers of Poly(phenylsilsesquioxane)
초록 Racently, considerable attention has been paid to application of poly(phenylsilsesquioxne) because of its excellent thermal and oxidative stability.
For a long time, many papers concerning synthesis of PPSQ have been published.
Usual synthesis method was hydrolysis of phenyltrichlorosilane followed by condensation of the resulting hydrolysate. However, it is very difficult to prepare the PPSQ with high molecular weight by this method. In our work, high molecular weight (Mw>10000) PPSQ copolymer with a small amount of 1,2-bis(triethoxysilyl)ethane was prepared within relatively short reaction time. Moreover, thermal and chemical resistant transparent thin film could be obtained by spin coating due to good solubility in common organic solvent.
