제목 Microstructure and ablation behavior of CNT-phenolic composites  for ablation resistant application
초록 High ablation resistant CNT-phenolic composites were fabricated by the addition of nanofiller with low concentrations. The mechanical properties were improved under tensile and compressive tests. The microstructure and ablative properties of CNT-phenolic composites were evaluated by FE-SEM and oxygen kerosene flame torch. Low concentrations of CNT resulted in significant increases in ablative resistance. The ablation rate was found to be lowest for the 0.3 wt% CNT-phenolic composites. Ablative mechanisms for all the tested composites are observed based on the thermal analysis. Microstructure studies revealed that CNT worked as ablation resistant phase at high temperature, and the uniform dispersion played an important role in ablative property.
