제목 Curing Studies of Liquid Crystalline Epoxy and Various Aromatic Diamine Hardeners: Development of High Thermal Conductive Polymer Resin
초록 We synthesized 3 types of liquid crystalline epoxy resin (LCER) each having a different mesogen units; 4,4'-biphenol, 4,4'-sulfonylbisphenol, and p-phenylenedibenzoate. Each LCER showed good LC properties, and LC properties of their mixtures with several hardeners are remained in some cases. The LC properties were investigated by DSC studies and POM observations. In addition, curing behaviors between LCERs and various aromatic diamines such as phenylene diamine derivatives were studied. On top of that, the cases that would be able to be cured in temperature range showing LC phase were investigated and the specimens were prepared by hot press-molding method. In presentation, thermal conductivity of the specimens will be mainly discussed.
