제목 Preparation of low molecular weight and soluble carbohydrate derivative for stabilization of Epidermal Growth Factor
초록 Epidermal Growth Factor(EGF) has been reported to have efficiency of wound healing and anti-wrinkle effect. However, EGF in the body is decomposed when applied in free form. EGF can be stabilized by immobilization with carbohydrates from proteolytic degradation. In this study, low molecular weight and soluble 6-amino-6-deoxychitosan(LM6A6DC) was prepared as a reactive carbohydrate for the stabilization of EGF. And for enhancing the stability of free EGF, EGF was attached with LM6A6DC. It did not show any cytotoxicity on the Normal Human Dermal Fibroblast 3T3 proliferation at least under 100㎍/㎖. Therefore, EGF-LM6A6DC conjugates are considered to be a potent wound healing agent.
