제목 Electrochemical performance of the nanocomposite separators coated on PE for lithium ion batteries
초록   Polyolefine microporous membranes have been used as major commercial separators for the lithium ion battery. But they also have poor thermal shrinkage and mechanical strength.
  In this study, as an approach to significantly reduce the thermal shrinkage of a separator, we develop a new composite separator, which is based on applying the microporous composite coating layers onto both sides of a PE separator. The composite coating layers consist of alumina (Al2O3) nanoparticles and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVdF) gel polymer electrolytes. To investigate the effect of thermal shrinkage and electrochemical performance with amount of Al2O3 amount and size, we develop the microporous structure in the composite coating layers on the microporous structure evolution in the composite coating layers. In addition, we made for application of separator for Lithium ion battery and they showed electrochemical performance of the composite separators.
