Recent breakthoughs for lithium ion batteries have been accomplished by structuring, electroactive and ionic conductive materials on a nanoscale. The synthesis of nanostructured electrodes has been particularly placed in terms of the large accessible area, short diffusion path, and unusual quantum effect. Accordingly, comprehensive approaches into Zero-dimensional nanosturctures have been intensively carried out due to the reduction of lithium ion diffusion path. The preformances of energy storage devices could be improved by the construction of conventional electrode materials sush as metal oxides. |
