Characterization of L-ascorbic acid incorporated calcium phosphate film coated silica particle |
초록 |
Silica and calcium phosphate are used widely as biomaterials since they are biocompatible. In particular, calcium phosphate is known to have exellent osteoconductivity. In this study, we incorporated L-ascorbic acid into calcium phosphate coated on silica particle in order to promote biocompatibility of silica. L-ascorbic acid is a hormone affecting both differentiation of osteoblast and osteoclast. The surface property of the hybrid silica particles was characterized by zeta potential measurements. The surface morphology was monitored using SEM. FT-IR was utilized to determine the variation of chemical state of the hybridized film. |
