제목 Characterization of L-ascorbic acid incorporated calcium phosphate film coated silica particle
초록 Silica and calcium phosphate are used widely as biomaterials since they are biocompatible. In particular, calcium phosphate is known to have exellent osteoconductivity. In this study, we incorporated L-ascorbic acid into calcium phosphate coated on silica particle in order to promote biocompatibility of silica. L-ascorbic acid is a hormone affecting both differentiation of osteoblast and osteoclast. The surface property of the hybrid silica particles was characterized by zeta potential measurements. The surface morphology was monitored using SEM. FT-IR was utilized to determine the variation of chemical state of the hybridized film.
