제목 Facile Synthesis of Nonlinear Optical Dendrimers and Polymers Through Diels-Alder Chemistry
초록 Organic second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) materials have been steadily studied for their potential applications in high-speed and broadband information technologies. High-performance NLO polymers were recently demonstrated by a facile Diels-Alder reaction for improving thermal stability. Here we utilize Diels-Alder reaction in order to synthesize NLO dendrimers which can minimize strong intermolecular electrostatic interactions and further improve NLO performances. Crosslinkble functional groups at the peripheral position in the dendrimer were introduced for improving thermal stability.
