Acrylic copolymer immobilized 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine(DOPA) was prepared for bone glue, which has biocompatible between bone and/or hydroxyapatite. The copolymer was polymerized with methylmethacrylate, 2-ethylhexylacrylate, hydroxyethylmethacrylate and the monomer esterified with DOPA, etc. Due to inducing DOPA in side chain of the acrylic copolymer, the behavior of adhesive strength and osteointegration was investigated in wetting state. The synthesized glue was confirmed the chemical structure by NMR and FT-IR, and evaluated the solution viscosity and fractural strength of hydroxyapatite composite binded by this glue. As biological properties, the in-virto formation behavior of hydroxyapatite neocrystal was examined in body fluid. The viablilty of osteoblast-like cell was studied on surface of the copolymer according to its hydroxy, amino, and carboxylic groups. |
