Antimicrobial activity of Silver-containg Dressings |

The Negative pressure wound therapy(NPWT) is an integrated wound management system that creates an environment that promotes wound healing. The Dressings is coated with silver to impart antimicrobial properties throughout the dressing. The silver-containg dressings was evaluated wound healing using mouse moedel and antimicrobial property was evaluated in vitro for efficacy against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The silver-containg dressings is an effective wound healing. |
