Synthesis of 2, 2’-bipyridyl-4, 4’-diamine RuII Complex for using DSSC |
초록 |
The sensitization of nanocrystalline titania by ruthenium(II) complexes coordinating with the derivatives of 2,2'-bipyridine ligand is presently under intense investigation in several research laboratories. In a dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC), Ru-complexes are employed as sensitizers, exhibiting excellent stability and making practical applications feasible. We studied the synthesis of 4,4'-diamino-2,2'-bipyridine ligand (L) with improved yield by modification of Paul's methods. The preparation and characterization of the [RuIIL2(CN)2] and [RuIIL2(SCN)2]-complexes have also been studied. |
