제목 Preparation and characterization of flexible zeolite nanofibers for the removal of volatile organic compounds
초록 For the synthesis of flexible zeolite nanofibers with a high surface area, flexible as-spun zeolite nanofibers were prepared by an electrospinning method, and then the specific surface area was dramatically improved by the thermal surface partial etching process. The flexible zeolite nanofibers simultaneously have the advantage of a high surface area derived from ceramic and the advantage of flexible characteristics derived from polymer. The condition of the thermal surface partial etching was investigated based on TGA results. SEM and AFM images clearly showed that the polymer surface of the nanofibers was partially etched, and zeolite particles were exposed on the surface of the nanofibers. The specific surface area characteristics were analyzed by N2 adsorption / desorption isotherms, and the thermal surface etched zeolite nanofibers at 400OC had a specific surface area of 816m2/g similar to the value of zeolite powders. The breakthrough curves for the adsorption and Temperature programmed desorption curve of toluene over flexible zeolite nanofibers were investigated as a function of thermal etching temperature and SiO2/Al2O3 ratio.
