Poor solubility, stability and high toxicity all reduce the therapeutic virtue of most drugs and can prevent approval of studied pharmacological agents for medical treatment. Therefore many investigators have explored the alternating doses which maintained to drug concentration level or sustain-release of drugs. In these days the various natural and synthetic polymers have been used as drug carriers. Polymers, chosen as potential drug carriers, must have certain properties- good solubility, bio-compatibility, biodegradability, and so on. This study discussed about drug delivery system using biomedical polymer such as PCL, PEG and chitin and chitosan derivatives. |
