Impact of Cd Partial Electrolyte treatments on High Efficient Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 Thin film Solar cells |

Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)4 (CZTSSe) thin films are an promising development in solar cell technology. CZTSSe having the kesterite structure, is one of the most promising absorber layer candidates for low cost thin film solar cells due to suitable optical properties. Recently, the study of low cost solar cells has become popular by many scholars. Way to improve the power conversion efficiency of CZTSSe solar cells, we report a high efficiency CZTSSe thin film solar cells by Cd Partial Electrolyte (PE) treatments. In this study, we have conducted experiments in a variety of ways for the highest efficiency. The Cd PE treatment was performed in chemical bath by various temperatures, different Cd concentrations and dipping times. As a results, For the high efficient CZTSSe devices, the fill factor increased from 50.90% to 61.57% when using the Cd PE treatment, leading to the improvement of the efficiency from 8.90% to 10.38% for the best solar cells. |
