As the use of fossil fuel has increased, the impotance of environment pollution is growing. CO2 is the one of the factor of this environment pollution. The CO2 can be reduced with mineral carbonation. Mg is the element which is suitable for mineral carbonation. In this study, we chose serpentine for the mineral carbonation materials. In order to knowing the solubility of the mineral elements which are included in the serpentine, ozone dissolved water was used. Chemical structure changes, crystallographic variation and other physicochemical properties were investigated by FT-IR, XRD and ICPMS. The physicochemical changes of the serpentine which is soluble by ozone dissolved water is measured by ph, conductivity and solubility. |
