제목 Thermal Stabilities and Mechanical Interfacial Properties of Sulfonated Polyethersulfone Reinforced Epoxy Blends
초록 The sulfonated poly (ether sulfone) (SPES) was successfully prepared using chlorosulfonic acid as a sulfonating agent. A diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA) epoxy resin was modified with different contents of SPES, and the thermal stabilities and mechanical interfacial properties of the blend system were investigated. The curing behaviors were characterized by DSC measurements. It was observed that the curing reaction rate was decreased with the increase of SPES content, which was caused by the increased viscosity in the presence of thermoplastic moieties. The TGA results revealed that the thermal stability was slightly decreased with increasing the SPES content. This might be caused by the reduction of cross-linking density of the epoxy network, which could be attributed to the incomplete curing reaction in the DGEBA/SPES system.
