제목 Improved EDLC capacitance of phenol based activated carbonby fluorination
초록 The surface of phenol-based activated carbon (AC) was fluorinated at room temperature with different F2:N2 gas mixtures to prepare an electrode material in electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC). Specific surface area and pore volume of the AC was increased by fluorination due to physical function of the fluorine functional groups. Specific capacitance of the fluorinated AC-based EDLC increased about 2.9 times, from 24.8 F g-1 to 72.0 F g-1, in comparison to that of the unfluorinated AC-based EDLC when the fluorination process was optimized as 0.2 bar partial F2 gas pressure.
