제목 Specific targeted optical image nanoprobe of αvβ3 integrins as receptors for tumor
초록 We studied a new class of targeted imaging agents employing the PEGylated gold nanorods conjugated with cRGD for αvβ3 integrins specific tumor-cell targeting. The gold nanorods having an optical resonance peak in the NIR region were synthesized by the seed-mediated growth method. Then CTAB bilayer was replaced with heterobifunctional polyethyleneglycol (COOH-PEG-SH) as a biocompatible stabilizer on gold nanorods. Further, the carboxylated gold nanorods can be easily functionalized with cRGD to produce cRGD conjugated gold nanorods by using EDC-NHS chemistry. In order to assess the potential of the cRGD-PGNRs to serve as targeted imaging agents, we investigated their optical properties, biocompatibility, colloidal stability and affinity for tumor cells as well as in vitro/vivo.
