Ion-exchange membranes have been used in various industries because of their superior selectivity for specific ions and wide applicability. The anion-exchange membrane is required high mechanical property, ion-exchange capacity and low electrical resistance. We synthesized ionomer by a radical polymerization between VBC, Sty, and HEA for application of ion exchange membrane. The VBC-Sty-HEA membrane was synthsised by radical polymerization, quaternization and esterfication method. The structure of block copolymer was confirmed by FT-IR, SEM-EDS and 1H-NMR. And The ion exchange capacity, water uptake and electrical resistance of these membrane have been investigated |
