Layered double hydroxides (LDH) are a kind of layered materials that consists of positively charged layers and the interlayer exchangeable anion. These layers have positive charge due to partial substitution of the divalent cations such as Mg and Ni with trivalent metal ions. For those electrical neutrality, anions present between positive layers. In recent years, LDHs have received considerable attention because of their application as catalysis, ion exchangers, adsorbents, ceramic precursors, and organic-inorganic nanocomposites. In this study, we prepared PET/LDH nanocomposites by direct melt compounding. And rheological properties of nanocomposite were investigated. |
