We synthesized bicrystalline gold nanowires and single crystalline gold nanosheets under mild condition using commercial polymer, Plurnic P123(PEO20PPO70PEO20) as both a reaction medium and a capping material. Pluronic P123 can act as capping reagent to determine the shapes of the gold cluster because the hydrophilic ethylene oxide group in Pluronic P123 have a good interaction with gold salt. In the procedure of the synthesizing the gold nanomaterials, we obtained the Au(I)-S(R) polymers via one phase method. When the Au(I)-S(R) polymers were irradiated with, gold nanoparticles with different sizes were obtained according to the beam energy. |
