제목 | Chemical Vapor Deposition Polymerization(CVDP) and Thermal Polymerization of 3,4-Diethynylthiophene Derivatives and Their Characterization |
초록 | Highly conjugated organic polymers have attracted much attention in fundamental research and technology. Among them, polythiophenes are popular polyconjugated, heterocycle-based, conductive and technologically promising materials. Moreover, Polythiophenes already have found applications as conductors in antistatic coatings and electrodes for electrolyte capacitors. They also show promises in light-emitting diodes(LEDs) and field-effect transistors(FETs). Polyconjugated polymers are usually synthesized by solution processes but we synthesized polymers of 3,4-diethynylthiophenes by chemical vapor deposition polymerization(CVDP). Some of them could also be prepared by solution polymerization. Chemical vapor deposition polymerization could prevent solvent induced contamination and structural defects. Therefore, this route to the synthesis of polyaromatics is very attractive. And many interesting polyaromatics also can be directly synthesized in nanoshapes on the surface of various substrates including nano porous membranes. In this investigation, we studied chemical and electronic structures, electrical conductivities, optical properties of polyaromatics prepared by the CVDP method. |
