| 제목 | Process design of LNG-FSRU for topside process weight reduction |
| 초록 | Limited resource problem made people pay attention to marine resources and for the efficient mining, there were many researches on offshore plants. The offshore plants have a similar design methodologies with general onshore chemical plants, especially on process design, but some important features just for the offshore condition are not considered before. Weight reduction is one of those problems because it can give stability of floating structures and the reduced load converts to storage capacity. In this study topside process for LNG-FSRU was designed from onshore LNG terminal with consideration of weight reduction. The weight reduction ideas are examined through 2 aspects; process unit selection and process simplification and as a result, a new simplified topside process is developed. |
