In this study, MWCNTs-embedded PAN-based carbon nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning method. The content of MWCNTs was varied as 0, 1, 3, 5 wt.%. While the electrical conductivities of prepared carbon composites were increased with the increase of MWCNTs contents, the surface area of 5 wt. % MWCNTs-embedded carbon nanofiber was smaller than that of 3 wt. % MWCNTs-embedded carbon nanofiber. The performance of PEMFC used 3 wt. % MWCNTs-embedded carbon nanofibers as catalyst support was increased more than 2.5 times when compared with that of PEMFC used carbon black. |
