제목 Efficient and stable perovskite solar cells through surface passivation
초록 In recent years, the efficiency of the perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has improved to over 25%. Due to its outstanding properties (e.g., high absorption coefficient, long diffusion length, etc.), PSCs has got attention as a candidate for next-generation Solar Cells. However, its poor stability with ambient conditions (e.g., moisture, heat, illumination) is the main drawback to commercialization of PSCs. Indeed, the degradation process of the PSCs is contributed to the instability of perovskite materials, hole transport layer (HTL), and electron transport layer (ETL), and the interfaces of each layer. Here, we show a new passivation strategy to the interface between perovskite absorber layer and C60(ETL) with introducing a thin PEABF4 layer. By passivation with PEABF4 layer, not only the stability of the PSCs is improved, but also the open-circuit voltage (VOC) and power conversion efficiency is improved. Details and discussion of the results behind the improvements with the passivation treatment will be described.
