The lightweight and flexibility of flexible-PSCs (F-PSCs) allows their use in niche applications such as portable electric charges, and power sources for unmanned aerial vehicles. There have been intensive investigation on the development of advanced materials for improved power conversion efficiencies, however, economical feasibilities and reliabilities of the PSCs are yet to reach at a sufficient level for practical utilizations. Further acceleration of commercialization would be possibly by utilizing flexible substrates. Over the past few years, we have developed several facile methods for the fabrication of efficient flexible solar cells on plastic substrates. In this talk, several strategies to address this issue will be introduced using the smart nano materials. |
