제목 Quantum dot effects of CdS-polystyrene colloidal composites prepared by direct dispersion polymerization
초록 In recent years, polymer-semiconductor composite is one of the fastest growing areas of materials research. The organic-inorganic composites can offer numerous possibilities of applications such as in catalysis, optical, electronic and photonic devices, biomaterials, and sensors. In this work, CdS-polystyrene composites were prepared via direct dispersion polymerization with PVP, PEI, and PAA as steric stabilizer. By the coordination of Cd2+ ions to DMEMA with the release of S2- ions from the thioacetamide, cadmium sulfide was formed. The obtained particles were investigated by SEM, TEM, UV-vis, and EDS.
