제목 One-Step Benzene Hydroxylation with CO2 over Metal Incorporated ZSM-5 prepared by microwave
초록  selective one step  hydroxylation of benzene remains one of the most desired reactions in heterogeneous catalysis since decades. Currently, the most widely used industrial route to phenol is the catalyzed cleavage of cumene hydroperoxide to phenol. However, a one-step, co-product free process that is green and operates with a cheap oxidant would be preferred. The main challenges are harsh reaction conditions at the expense of waste, over oxidation of Benzene to CO2 or CO and activation of Benzene. Several attempts were made for producing phenol through one-step hydroxylation of benzene using different oxidants still the outcomes are far away from the expectation.  Herein, CO2 was used as enhancer. The catalysts used in this study was metallo-ZSM-5 which were prepared by direct incorporation of metals like Fe and Ti into the MFI structure together with Al by microwave synthesis. Additionally, mesopore was introduced into the zeolite by post-treatment and role of mesoporosity will be investigated
