1,2-and 3,4-polyisoprene(PI) and 1,2-polybutadiene(PBD) were a classical soft segment in the investigation of multiblock and multiconstitution copolymers, which might bring the copolymers with special properties. Prior to this study, high vinyl PI, PBD were prepared by living anionic polymerization. the pendent groups were introduced to PI and PBD by Thiol-ene click reaction between bulky Thiol group and double bonds. PI, PBD with pendant bulky groups was synthesized by thiol-ene click reaction under thermal and photo-reaction methods. Properties such as glass transition temperatures were measured relative to the change in yield. |
